I was driving my shiny new Prius to the store this morning, listening to a mix CD I had burned the night before, when a song came on that I wasn't even aware I had burned. As one might imagine, it was one I hadn't listened to in quite a while, so it drew my attention more than it might have otherwise. As I listened, I realized that it's a pretty good painting of what the Anglican Church is like, especially in contrast to more dogmatic and/or fundamentalist churches. It's called "Without Condition", by Ginny Owens.

you'd rather stay far away from reality
for you to understand would be clearly impossible

claiming there is a God
does that mean anything
so condescending to those that you don't understand
just too easy to make them your enemies

quite convenient to handle them that way

praying for those who sin
for their eyes to be opened
